Good afternoon, Patriots families:

Patriots Elementary and all Cabarrus County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay on Thursday, February 5, 2026. This delay allows for additional daylight travel for buses, student drivers, families, and staff. We look forward to seeing our students back on Thursday!

Here’s what that means:

⏰ Schools

  • Schools will start two hours later than normal. 
  • For Patriots school hours will be 10:15am- 3:00pm
🚌 Transportation
  • School buses will run two hours later than usual
🚗 Parent Drop-Off
  • Parent drop-off times are also shifted two hours later
  • For Patriots parent drop-off will be open 9:45am to 10:15am
