International Dot Day

Hello Patriots families! 🎨⚫️

Next Tuesday, September 15th, we will be celebrating International Dot Day! 🌈

Inspired by the book The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds, Dot Day is all about creativity, courage, and collaboration—and reminding students that even a small mark can be the beginning of something amazing!

In our last Art (and Music) rotation, students learned about the story, as well as took took part in participating in fun Dot Day activities. Students also contributed to a school-wide collaborative art project - this will bring our students’ creativity together in one BIG celebration! 🎨✨

To help us celebrate, please encourage your student to wear their dots next Tuesday! Dots can be anything they’d like—polka dots, circles, spots, a favorite dotted shirt, or even lots of dots in different colors! 🔴🟠🟡🟢🔵🟣

We can’t wait to see our school covered in DOTS and celebrate all of the creativity our students have to share! 💕
